On Saturday April 7th, Cam's Kids supporters and ambassadors hosted a ball hockey tournament at Brock University. "Battle at Brock" provided a great opportunity to connect with one another, raise money and continue the conversation around anxiety, including promoting the resources available through the foundation.
Approximately sixty people participated in this fun and exciting event, including the new Cam’s Kids ambassador team at Brock University. Not only was the tournament a healthy and active way to relieve stress and anxiety before exams, but also a great opportunity for students of Brock U to be made aware of Cam’s Kids Foundation.
The tournament was a huge success raising a total of $1,575! WAY to GO Brock University!!!!
Brock Team 1 captured the title of the tournament in the championship game and won the beautiful medals generously donated by Baldwin Sales.
Special shoutout to Kaelenn Briggs, Daniel Butchart and Jeff Corbett for their hard work and commitment to planning and running this tournament. Thank you to Gemco, our game day sponsor, and Valgold Resources, our pizza and drinks sponsor, for their huge contribution to the tournament. The sponsorship support contributed to the great success of the tournament.
HUGE thank you to all who participated and supported the event! The funds raised will help us continue our work in “Supporting Young People Struggling with Anxiety."
