Cam’s Kids Ambassador, Roger Lagace led thirty Algonquin College students in the business school's year end networking event “Breakthrough Networking” on April 17th, 2018. We are extremely pleased to announce, the Cam’s Kids Foundation was selected as the recipient for this year’s terrific event.

Cam’s Kids Ambassador, Roger Lagace led thirty Algonquin College students in the business school's year end networking event  “Breakthrough Networking” on April 17th, 2018. This event was organized to assist graduating students proactively pursue employment opportunities, while also raising funds in support of a not-for-profit organization. We are extremely pleased to announce, the Cam’s Kids Foundation was selected as the recipient for this year’s terrific event. 

The event took place at the Canadian Museum of Nature with approximately 150 business professionals in attendance to support the cause. Andrew Hicks, Cam’s Kids Ambassador Program National Lead, welcomed all with the opening speech and shared the foundations story, mission and the many initiatives and programs we have. He was joined by Ambassadors Relana Blaga and Daniel Shepherd who connected with event participants at the Cam’s Kids booth. They shared information regarding anxiety as well as the many resources and programs available through Cam’s Kids to assist people manage and overcome their anxiety.

The business class generously donated the $755.00 raised at the event. We are extremely grateful to the Algonquin College Business School for their hard work in raising these funds and their kind support of the Cam’s Kids Foundation. A big thank you to all of our Cam’s Kids Ambassadors who helped to make this happen. It is because of all of your big hearts we continue in our mission of “Supporting Young People Struggling with Anxiety”.
