Students at Sir William Mulock Secondary School participated in a dodge ball tournament on Friday March 4th 2016, in support of Cam’s Kids Foundation.

Opening the conversation on mental health and anxiety, Ryan Sherwood, Athletic Council teacher advisor, started the ceremony by introducing athletic council directors Amanda Greidanus and Jenna Greenspoon.

Amanda, who is also a Cam’s Kids Ambassador, gave a brief overview of what Cam’s Kids is all about. Her and Jenna spoke about mental health, anxiety, and positive changes that the Foundation brings.

The directors encouraged students to openly talk about these topics. Many of the students could relate to the symptoms of anxiety through their own personal experiences or experiences of people around them.

Participating students had a fun time and other students came to cheer on their friends.

The event was not only successful in raising awareness, but also in introducing Cam’s Kids Foundation to students!
