Over 1100 students participated in the Cam’s Kids 2017 Frosh Contest. The three lucky recipients of the iPhone 7 Plus phones are from University of Ottawa, Lakehead University and University of Windsor.
Laura from Lakehead University said “I was with my best friend when I found out I had won the draw. I started screaming and cheering, and once I explained to her what was going on, we were both jumping up and down laughing. I am so grateful to have won this iPhone."
Rimaldeep at Windsor University said “I am very thankful to you for this prize. I don't have words to thank you. Again, thank you”!
William at the University of Ottawa won the iPhone and instantly asked to send the prize to his mom. He payed it forward by giving it to her since she recently lost hers.
This contest was more impactful than we had imagined. Many of the contest entrants included tips on how they personally manage their stress and anxiety. These tips will help our peer-to-peer support network and our mission of "Supporting Young People Struggling with Anxiety".
Thank you to everyone for your participation and positive feedback. We love to share your tips, please keep them coming!
Big shout-out to Telus for providing us with this year's amazing iPhone 7 Plus contest prize.
