It's back!! The 6th Annual Cam's Kids Tournament is scheduled to take place Saturday June 12th 2021 at the beautiful Wooden Sticks Golf Club, in Uxbridge, ON.
Having had to cancel last year's tournament, we are beyond excited to be able to bring back this popular awareness and fundraising event.
This year's tournament will include 22 regular foursomes and 23 corporate foursomes. A regular foursome entry is $875+tax and includes:
*Please be advised that as of Monday May 17th, there are only 1 spot left for regular foursomes!*
Cam's Kids is also honoured to offer a variety of Corporate Sponsorship opportunities for this year's tournament. While many sponsorships include a foursome in this year's event, some do not; leaving opportunities for all interested. To learn more, please email Meghan at [email protected].
As the world still grapples with the effects of COVID-19, we have decided to adapt how this year's tournament will be run. Below we have outlined the current format for the 6th Annual Cam's Kids Golf Tournament. Please be advised that protocols are subject to change in accordance with COVID-19 regulations. Golfers will be notified should adaptations be required.
In previous years, we have opted for a mass start, Texas Scramble format. This year, each foursome will be given a specific tee-off time, and will be following a Modified Best Ball format (can use best tee shot and then must play your own ball. Must use 4 minimum of 4 tee off shots, per golfer).
Each tee-off time will be separated by 10 minutes, beginning at 8:00am, with the last tee-off taking place at 3:30pm. Golfers may select their preferred tee-off time block (ie. early morning, late morning, early afternoon, late afternoon) during registartion. Tee times will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific tee times will be released by the Cam’s Kids team following the closing of registration. We will try our best to accommodate preferences, but we cannot guarantee you will receive your first choice.
Golfers may arrive 30 minutes prior to their tee-off time to use the driving range, practice green, and to register. Golfers that arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to their tee-off time will be asked to remain in their vehicles. These measures have been put in place to limit crossover with other foursomes.
Golfers arriving in the same vehicle, or who are from the same social circle, will be paired together in one cart. Individual or COVID-friendly divided carts will be available upon request. Golfers will be responsible for placing their own equipment on the carts.
Golfers with an early morning tee time (8-10:30 am) will be provided a boxed breakfast on their cart. Golfers teeing off after 10:30am will receive a boxed lunch on their cart. All players will receive a plated meal following their round of golf, which can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio behind the clubhouse (90 minute maximum). Players may also use this time to participate in our raffle and closed-bid silent auction, which will be displayed inside the pavilion.
There will be no other evening program this year.
Lastly, all players must wear a non-medical mask or face covering when entering any building - including the pavilion. Shower facilities in the locker rooms will not be available.
We thank everyone in advanced for their support and understanding. 100% proceeds raised from the golf tournament is directed back to Cam's Kids Foundation, allowing us to continue to generate effective anxiety resources, and fund support initiatives for students and Cam's Kids Ambassadors across the country.
