Cam’s Kids was thrilled to collaborate with Bridging Borders, a not-for-profit organization that “draws on an intersectional and humanistic approach to develop and implement sustainable programs and services that span socioeconomic, cultural, health and wellness, and educational borders within local and global communities.”
This was an exciting opportunity both for Cam’s Kids and Bridging Borders to work together to reach out, and connect with a larger demographic that may need support during this time. This collaborative initiative was called Bridge The Distance. Through this platform, we aimed to fill the physical gap created by COVID-19 and send a smile to someone who may have needed it. Through this platform, individuals from across the country were able to nominate a friend or family member to receive a special video, that's specifically curated just for them. Our organizations wanted to give everyone the opportunity to celebrate. We might be physically apart right now, but that does not mean that we have to feel disconnected. Anyone, no matter their age, could be nominated.
Cam’s Kids Ambassadors supported this initiative sending positive messages to nominees. It’s not just our Ambassadors who could submit a video however, ALL were encouraged to join and volunteer.
Because together, we can Bridge the Distance.
