It is with immense pride that Cam's Kids announces that our co-founder Gordon Hicks is a 2020 Order of Canada recipient! 

The Order of Canada is the "cornerstone of the Canadian Honours System and recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community, and service to the nation." Gord is being recognized for his "environmental leadership in the real estate industry, for his mental health advocacy, and for his community engagement."

Alongside his wife Linda, Gord has demonstrated compassion, resiliency, and strength, establishing the Cam's Kids Foundation in loving memory of their son Cameron Hicks. The Foundation has emerged into a nationwide community of support, connection and acceptance, allowing young people who are struggling with anxiety to discover the tools and resources they need to reach their full potential. Our partners at Kids Help Phone have also welcomed Gord onto the Board and Director, illustrating his commitment to mental health advocacy, and dedication to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health struggles.
