Nipissing is excited to bring the Cam's Kids Ambassador program to our campus. We are looking to expand our Ambassador team and make a big impact raising awareness and talking about mental health.
safeTALK is a half-day alertness training that prepares anyone 15 or older, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper. More info

Being a new Cam’s Kids team at Nipissing University we are looking forward to spreading awareness not just around our school but our northern community as well. Thus far we have had a very warm reception from our school and look forward to being a part of community events outside of the school. Counselors and administrators alike have been excited to share our resources with students that they feel could benefit.
We look forward to providing events throughout the school year to help students reduce their stress while also providing resources that can increase their knowledge on how they can cope in the most healthy way possible. We really look forward to building our team and seeing more people from the school to join us in removing the stigma around anxiety and mental health. Our Nipissing Cam’s Kids team is excited to be a part of such a wonderful group!
