Navarra's Eatery - a delicious restaurant in Cameron's hometown of Uxbridge ON - has always been a huge supporter of Cam's Kids. The owner - Amanda Navarra - always looks for ways to support Cam's Kids through various events hosted at her restaurant. She has chosen Cam's Kids as her "charity of choice" as mental health and anxiety are two topics very near and dear to her heart.

"If something like Cam's Kids existed when my sister was going through her struggles, maybe she would still be alive today", Amanda powerfully explained to Vanessa and Meghan - National and Community Outreach Coordinators for Cam's Kids.

Amanda decided to use their Anniversary (March 15th) as an opportunity to support two local charities - Cam's Kids in honour of her late sister, and Farm House Animal Home in honour of her late father. For $7, restaurant goers were able to purchase the "Cam-Rock" Shake, a peppermint milkshake in spirit of St. Patrick's Day, with 100% proceeds going to Cam's Kids. (Farm House Animal Home funds were raised through the purchase of a "Paw-tini").

Cam's Kids Ambassador Miranda Sarosi - who also happens to work at Navarra's Eatery - was asked what she remembers most about the Anniversary celebration. She recalls:

"People all commented that they love seeing small businesses thrive. They also loved that Navarra's is a local business who supports other businesses, and supports things that matter in our community."

Huge thank you to Amanda and the entire Navarra's team for their constant hard work to raise awareness for Cam's Kids and raise funds for our Foundation!!
