Cam’s Kids was excited to once again partner with post-secondary schools across Canada for their 2019 fall orientation week!
For thousands of students across Canada, September marks the start of their first year at post-secondary school and a new chapter in their lives. This transition is undoubtedly an exciting experience for many students, but it can also be both mentally and physically exhausting, leaving students more susceptible to stress and anxiety in their first year of post-secondary school. Cam’s Kids recognizes this and is thrilled to announce that we partnered with 27 post-secondary schools across Canada and distributed over 35,000 pamphlets for fall orientation 2019, to ensure students were aware of the mental wellness tips and tools offered through www.CamsKids.com to assist them, if necessary, at any point throughout the year.
Not only did first year students at partnering schools receive our Cam's Kids pamphlets and learn about the various resources available at Cam's Kids, but they were also given a chance to enter to win one of three iPhone XR Smartphones, courtesy of our friends at Telus!
Many of our Ambassadors also set up booths throughout the first month of school to allow students to learn more about the foundation and our initiatives, as well as to meet some of the friendly faces of the student leaders on their campus.
We would like to thank all schools who agreed to bring Cam's Kids to their school, as well as our hardworking Ambassadors who work hard on their campuses to help fulfill our mission of “Supporting Young People Struggling with Anxiety”!
