Department of National Defence Welcomed Cam's Kids at their Charity Breakfast for Mental Health
This past Thursday, Cam’s Kids was lucky to be 1 of 6 charitable organizations invited to attend a fundraising breakfast, organized to raise money and awareness for mental health. The fundraising campaign, held by the Department of National Defence (DND), was attended by over 500 government men and women at the Ottawa DND Campus.

This past Thursday, the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) held a Campaign Breakfast for over 500 government men and women. The fundraising breakfast was organized to raise money and awareness for mental health.

Cam’s Kids was lucky to be 1 of 6 charitable organizations invited to attend this wonderful event, alongside organizations such as Do It For Daron and The Royal Mental Health Centre. Along with the other wonderful organizations, Cam’s Kids inspired conversation on mental health, raised awareness on the realities surrounding anxiety, and the importance of supporting youth (and adults) struggling.

Thank you to Katie and DND for allowing us to participate in this important event, and to Cam’s Kids Ambassadors, Andrew and Leah, for taking the lead on this initiative. Thank you to all the men and women who visited our booth; we hope we resonated with you all in some way.
