Great Success at 3rd Annual Cam's Kids Golf Tournament
This past Saturday June 24th, 2017 many supporters gathered for the 3rd Annual Cam’s Kids Tournament at Wooden Sticks in Uxbridge.
Golfers were greeted at registration by eager ambassadors and volunteers with a Cam’s Kids bag, hat, golf shirt and a custom made Cam’s Kids leather golf head cover.
This past Saturday June 24th, 2017 many supporters gathered for the 3rd Annual Cam’s Kids Tournament at Wooden Sticks in Uxbridge.
Golfers were greeted at registration by eager ambassadors and volunteers with a Cam’s Kids bag, hat, golf shirt and a custom made Cam’s Kids leather golf head cover.
The event raises funds for the foundation and helps to further Cam’s Kid’s mission of “Supporting Youth Struggling with Anxiety”. The golf tournament provides participants the opportunity to connect with one another and continue to keep the conversation regarding the supporting of anxiety moving forward.
In a season that has provided so much rain to date, we felt very fortunate to have a spectacular day of sunshine again for our 3rd year in a row! Cam’s Crew showed their incredible support by all wearing white golf shirts honouring him. You couldn’t help but feel Cam’s smile throughout the beautiful day filled with so much friendship and love.
The event participants had the chance to enjoy standard golf contests along with a poker and putting contest, raffle draw, live and silent auctions and so much more…All while experiencing the pristine and prestigious Wooden Sticks Golf Course. The day provided a perfect opportunity to get outside, spend time with friends and leave the phones behind!
After an incredible day on the course everybody gathered for a wonderful evening program of fine food, music and entertainment. It was great to see everyone having a terrific time gathered and working together in support of Cam’s Kids.
A big thank you to all of the volunteers, corporate and local businesses who supported the 3rd Annual Cam’s Kids Golf Tournament. Everyone did so with a great smile and lots of love to help support the foundation, Cam’s memory and the Hicks family.
The Cam’s Kids Foundation cannot exist without continuous contributions from people who care and give of themselves. The resources we share in our mission of “Supporting Youth Struggling with Anxiety” will come to help a great many.
Again, we thank everyone so much who has helped us on our journey for your kindness, generosity and support. We can’t do it without YOU!
