On Saturday July 13th, Cam’s Kids once again participated in local music festival, HitsFest, which takes place each year at Elgin Park in Uxbridge, Ontario.
HitsFest is a full day festival featuring a lineup of amazing musical talent, as well as the new addition this year - craft beer samples from 10 local breweries and cideries. This full day event (11am-11pm) also brings together local food trucks, artists, organizations and vendors. It is no surprise that it is the largest (and first ever craft beer) festival in the region.
Tragically Hit Tribute Band Grace 2, Robyn Ottolini, and Cam’s Kids Ambassador Julien Kelland were just some of the incredible musicians that performed at this year's event!
We are always honoured to be invited to this local event, as it provides Cam’s Kids Ambassadors the opportunity to connect with people of all ages about anxiety, the foundation, and our work in the community. Our foundation was also able to hold a contest, where by subscribing to Cam's Kids Connects, for festival attendees a chance to win a pair of Blue Jays tickets!
Thank you again 105.5 Hits FM for inviting us to this event and allowing us to engage in meaningful conversations about mental health and anxiety!
