Paint Night for Cam's Kids
Julianna, an Ambassador Team Lead at Durham College took it upon herself to organize a paint night for her peers on campus, to give them a night of fun and stress relief - something well needed during the stressful exam period.
Julianna, an Ambassador Team Lead at Durham College took it upon herself to organize a paint night for her peers on campus. We were in awe of her initiative and creativity to make such a fun and stress relieving activity happen during what is already a very stressful time - exam season!
Not only was $80 raised for Cam’s Kids, but they also discussed what a panic attack looks like/how to help someone through one, and learned more about anxiety grounding and breathing techniques!
What a great initiative to help manage stress & anxiety, and raise awareness for mental health! Way to go Julianna!
