Every year, local volunteers work for months to create and perform “uxperience” for the purpose of helping local charities and non-profit organizations. We are very fortunate to say that the profits from this year’s show “Battle of the Sexes” went to Cam’s Kids Foundation.
The shows that uxperience produce are always spectacular and this year’s performance was no exception. Comedy acts, singing, dancing and brilliant skits gave the audience a good laugh and bang for their buck.
One of four shows was cancelled due to a power outage but this eager and determined group did not let that slow them down. Uxperience still managed to raise a whopping total of $7500 for Cam’s Kids Foundation!
We are extremely grateful for all that was done to make this possible. With this donation we will continue to help the local community through nutrition courses and wellness sessions. We are also going to continue training our ambassadors in safeTALK, a half day course that teaches them what to do if they are approached by a peer with mental health struggles or thoughts of suicide. We will be able to create and implement new workshops and ideas to help those that are struggling with anxiety in our community.
The kindness, hard work and support from uxperience is truly appreciated. Once again, thank you to this wonderful organization for their donation.
